ALFA International (ALFAI) brought together more than 200 attorney members from across its worldwide network for the Annual Business Meeting (ABM) in Madrid, Spain, on October 8-10, 2025. The highly anticipated event offers member attorneys an opportunity to strengthen their relationships with one another while immersing themselves in the local culture through activities curated in collaboration with ALFAI’s Spanish member firm, Bufete Barrilero.
A highlight of the meeting was the announcement that current Board Member Dawn M. Dillon of Young Moore and Henderson, P.A. in Raleigh, North Carolina, was named as ALFAI’s new Treasurer. Dawn takes over from Ian H. Frank of Frantz Ward LLP, in Cleveland/Columbus, Ohio, whose dedicated service on the Board of Directors was praised.
The meeting also welcomed four outstanding attorneys to the Board of Directors for a three-year term:
