Annette Mijanovic

Annette Mijanovic's practice centers on complex commercial litigation, including business torts, real estate litigation, and contract and collection disputes. Her experience includes an emphasis on residential and commercial unlawful detainers as well as representing lender institutions, title service entities, and property management companies in foreclosure litigation filed in all state and federal courts throughout California. She also has significant experience defending against consumer warranty claims and defending creditors against unfair debt collection and unfair credit reporting claims.

Annette also has defended numerous product manufacturers and contractors in wrongful death, personal injury, and subrogation matters. Her experience in products liability focuses on the defense of products from diverse industries, including agriculture and construction.

In addition, Annette has significant experience defending truck drivers and trucking companies against claims involving death and serious injury in traffic and warehouse incidents. She is a member of the firm’s Immediate Response Team, a rapid response team for transportation accidents. The Immediate Response Team is comprised of legal counsel, expert consultants, field adjusters, and investigators who are available twenty-four hours a day to respond to any transportation emergency to interview the driver, control the site, begin reconstruction, secure the evidence and, if requested, deal with the media.
