Jim Ickes has joined the firm’s Cannabis Practice Group as a Partner, bringing extensive knowledge in data privacy, cybersecurity, and cannabis law. Much of Jim’s national cannabis practice focuses on representing clients in the hemp-infused beverage space, in which he represents clients in Ohio and across the country.
In addition to his vibrant cannabis and hemp practice, Jim represents clients in all stages of litigation and has particular experience managing cybersecurity incidents and data breach responses. He is also a certified Healthcare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner and regularly develops HIPAA compliance programs for clients navigating the regulatory complexities of the health care and medical cannabis sectors.
