Duke Highfield and Christian Carey recently obtained a full defense verdict after a four-day trial in Colleton County. The lawsuit arose out of a hunting accident in which the Plaintiff was claiming hundreds of thousands of dollars in past and future medical care due to the alleged negligence of the Defendants, as well as non-economic and punitive damages. Mr. Highfield and Mr. Carey represented the lessees of the property and the hunt master who organized the hunt.
