ALFA International (ALFAI) is pleased to announce that Amy Conley, Philip Maynard, Jordan Rattray and Caren Ries were recently appointed to ALFAI’s Client Advisory Board (CAB). The new CAB members will serve a three-year term.
Amy Conley is Corporate Litigation Counsel for DISH Network L.L.C., a provider of multichannel television, satellite television, mobile phone and IPTV services. She manages DISH’s variety of tort litigation cases, including auto accidents, personal injury and property damage. Amy first joined DISH as a paralegal before earning her J.D. from the University of Denver Strum College of Law. Amy has been actively participating in ALFAI events since 2019.
Amy stated about her appointment to the CAB, “I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve on ALFAI’s CAB. ALFAI has been a valuable resource for managing a nationwide litigation caseload, and I have forged some great partnerships and friendships along the way. I am excited to continue the journey and contribute my insights and expertise to this esteemed organization.”
Philip Maynard is EVP-Chief Legal Officer with Tealium, Inc., a rapidly growing SaaS-based Customer Data Platform services provider based in San Diego, California, with global offices in London, Frankfurt, Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Phil spent about 10 years in private law practice before moving into private industry. Over the last 30 years, Phil has served as the senior legal officer for several public companies, including National Education Corporation, Wonderware Corporation (industrial automation), Software Systems Division of Invensys plc, Filenet Corporation, Associate General Counsel for IBM (ECM group) and Limelight Networks. Phil has been acquainted with ALFAI since 2017 and has spoken and attended numerous ALFAI events.
“I am thrilled to join ALFAI’s CAB. I have engaged with several ALFAI member firms around the planet and in every case received timely, professional and friendly services. My biggest challenge will be providing suggestions on how to improve an already great network,” said Phil.
Jordan Rattray is General Counsel and Executive Vice President of Geosyntec Consultants, Inc., a consulting and engineering firm that works with private and public sector clients to address new ventures and complex environmental, natural resources and civil infrastructure problems. As the leader of an integrated legal department, her team advises on contracting, risk management, compliance, corporate governance and intellectual property, among other legal issues. As a member of the Company’s executive leadership, she is tasked with helping Geosyntec achieve its strategic direction. Jordan was first introduced to the ALFAI network in 2018 and has participated in the International Client Seminar and Construction Practice Group events.
Jordan added, “I am excited to be able to contribute to ALFAI, a great group of talented counsel that I rely on all the time.“
Caren Ries is Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary for the Champion Homes family of companies, the largest publicly traded vertically integrated factory built housing provider in the US. Caren joined the Champion Homes family in 2018 as Associate Counsel and Litigation Manager. Her responsibilities span the entire United States and Western Canada, wherein she advises the company’s manufacturing, retail, transportation, finance, marketing and builder developer operations in all things legal, risk and compliance. Caren is a graduate of Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, Michigan, where she has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law in the School’s Corporate Counsel Externship Program since 2022. Caren has been active in the ALFAI network since 2019 and has spoken at many ALFAI events.
