ALFA International Welcomes Bufete Barrilero as Its New Spanish Member

ALFA International (ALFAI) is thrilled to announce that Bufete Barrilero, one of Spain’s prominent independent law firms, has been approved by the Board of Directors to take over the Spanish Membership from Buigas effective January 1, 2024. Buigas officially integrated with Bufete Barrilero as part of the firm’s overall growth strategy. The combined firm now has more than 250 professionals throughout Spain.

Bufete Barrilero began its legal practice in Bilbao and Madrid in 1991 and presently has offices in Bilbao, Madrid, Barcelona, San Sebastián, Sevilla, Vigo, and Málaga. The firm provides comprehensive legal services to clients, covering tax, labor, commercial, corporate, M&A, financial and capital markets, litigation and arbitration, insolvency and restructuring, real estate and urban planning, intellectual property, criminal, administrative and regulatory, corporate governance and compliance.

Bufete Barrilero has named Ignacio López-Balcells, Mireia Blanch and Roberto Giralt Leinweber as Contact Partners in Barcelona, Bilbao and Madrid, and Elisa Lemus as a Contact Partner in Bilbao. The firm will be involved in ALFAI’s European Regional Group and in the Business Litigation, Construction, Corporate Transactions, Future Leaders, Intellectual Property & Information Technology, Labor & Employment, Real Estate, Women’s Initiative and Workers’ Compensation Practice Groups.
