Panelists:

BRIAN D. CARR is a Partner with Monaco Cooper Lamme & Carr, PLLC, ALFA International’s member firm in Albany, New York. He is an accomplished litigator and negotiator who represents clients in the transportation, construction and aviation industries in both litigated and transactional commercial matters. Brian serves as Chair of the rapid-response critical-incident “Go-Team” at his firm and has overseen dozens of catastrophic accident responses across the trucking, aviation, construction and product liability industries. Brian serves as outside General Counsel to the Trucking Association of New York, representing the Association as well as its members in litigation of all forms, and in administrative proceedings before state and federal agencies. In addition to his law degree, Brian holds a master’s degree in business administration and is a licensed commercial pilot with instrument and multi-engine ratings. Brian has received the professional honor of Martindale-Hubbell’s AV® Preeminent Attorney rating, recognition in Best Lawyers in America® from 2024 to present, selection to Super Lawyers® from 2020 to present and as a Rising Star from 2013 to 2017, and membership in the National Order of Barristers.

RYAN FUNDERBURG is an attorney with Quilling, Selander, Lownds, Winslett & Moser, P.C., ALFA International’s member firm in Dallas, Texas. After growing up in a small town in West Texas, Ryan relocated to Dallas-Fort Worth, where he represents clients in a variety of matters, with a focus on transportation and logistics, business and commercial disputes, premises liability, non-subscriber disputes, and construction and real estate litigation. Ryan has defended and prosecuted hundreds of matters, many of which have led to successful verdicts, favorable resolutions and early dismissals. He is licensed to practice in Texas state and federal courts and regularly represents clients throughout the entire state. Ryan has been honored as a Rising Star by Texas Super Lawyers for five consecutive years, an honor bestowed upon only 2.5% of Texas attorneys under 40. He was also recently named one of the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for the year 2024. He is an active member of the Dallas County Bar Association, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers and the ALFAI Transportation Practice Group.
