About the Webinar:
This panel will discuss expert discovery practices under different jurisdictions. The panel will compare expert discovery practices in Oregon, which does not have any formal expert discovery, with the discovery practices of other jurisdictions. The goal of the panel is to provide insights into possible alternative ways of approaching discovery and tips to manage expert discovery from prelitigation through verdict.
Panelists:
JOSHUA R. KENNEDY is a partner at Cosgrave Vergeer Kester LLP, the ALFA International member firm in Portland, Oregon. Josh focuses his law practice on construction services, construction litigation, product liability, and real estate litigation and has represented contractors, developers, design professionals, manufacturers, distributors, and property owners in a wide variety of circumstances. He has spent significant time in the courtroom and has tried dozens of jury trials through verdict. He also has a proven track record of negotiating favorable results for clients in contract and settlement negotiations, often involving high stakes and numerous interested parties.
STEVE TROIANO is a partner in the Boston ALFA International member firm of Morrison Mahoney LLP. He is a civil litigator with experience handling matters in all phases of litigation through trial and appeal. Steve represents clients in the areas of construction law and litigation, product liability, transportation and general liability.
