Much like the eclectic cast of characters in John Berendt’s novel*, the workers’ compensation system often involves a varied array of participants from the injured employees and their employers, to counsel to physicians and judges, not to mention exposure to an often-complex set of statutes and regulations. This seminar will strive to bring some sense of order to the chaos and help unravel the mystery that is workers’ compensation (while at the same time, taking in the beauty and charm that Savannah has to offer).
This interactive program, led by workers’ compensation defense attorneys along with managers of workers’ compensation programs for regional, national and international companies will debate and discuss a number of current and relevant topics faced in litigating and managing workers’ compensation claims.
