ALFA International Transportation Practice Group Seminar theme is identifying and dealing with the issues affecting the defense of transportation claims in light of the pandemic and going forward. Over the last two years, we have seen many changes in the world, in the transportation industry and jury verdicts in transportation cases are on the rise. What’s driving this trend and why is it occurring now, when the world has been lauding trucking companies and drivers for the essential services they provide? Apparently, no good deed goes unpunished. Is juror trucking bias raging stronger than ever, or have juror’s views concerning the value of money going out of whack? During the two days, we will focus on these recent trends, we’ll look to see what is coming ahead and we’ll discuss defense strategies that may assist you moving forward.
