Yvette Davis concentrates on defending clients in a wide variety of labor & employment matters including sexual harassment, wrongful termination, discrimination, wage and hour, and claims under the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) in both State and Federal Courts. She also has experience handling complex construction defect litigation for developers, and in other matters representing subcontractors. Yvette regularly advises and counsels clients regarding compliance with complex and evolving employment laws and regulations in areas that include: wage & hour issues, hiring, retention, firing and references, defamation, discrimination and harassment, employee privacy issues, workplace investigations, performance reviews and discipline, employee leave laws, ADA interactive process/workplace accommodation, and severance agreements. Yvette routinely represents clients in employment administrative proceedings appearing before the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE) under the Labor Commissioner’s office and the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board.
