Over the past 30 years, S. Christian Stouder has served as lead counsel in numerous trials; successfully brought motions for summary judgment; and has extensive experience in dispute resolution via arbitration and mediation. He has been involved in high-profile matters requiring interface with media and public relations.

Christian maintains an active practice concentrated in the defense of corporate clients, primarily in the Business Solutions, General Liability and Food Safety Practice Groups. For more than 25 years, Christian has represented America’s largest broad line closeout retailer throughout the entire State of California. He has defended this Fortune 500 retailer with respect to a wide variety of substantive matters including Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)/Unruh Act; commercial litigation; landlord/tenant; OSHA compliance; premises liability; product liability; and regulatory actions. Since 2005, Christian has represented numerous Native American tribes throughout the State of California with respect to issues of sovereign immunity and the resolution of tort claims through Tribal Court proceedings. Over the past 12 years, Christian has represented the world’s largest multichannel video game retailer regarding matters involving Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)/Unruh Act; appellate; commercial litigation; labor & employment; landlord/tenant; and regulatory actions. Christian represents a Fortune 500 fashion specialty retailer in matters arising out of allegations of general negligence and premises liability. Christian served as National Coordinating Counsel defending nationwide litigation involving catastrophic injuries and deaths arising out of the 2011 Listeriosis outbreak allegedly linked to the consumption of cantaloupe.
