Krsto Mijanovic represents corporations and individuals in tort-based litigation with an emphasis in products liability, business litigation, and transportation law. He also advises and represents manufacturers, distributors, retailers and facilities on compliance and enforcement actions under California Proposition 65. His diverse client base ranges from Fortune 500 companies and national motor carriers to regional carriers and local businesses.

Krsto's practice focuses on various real estate and commercial disputes. He has extensive experience as lead trial counsel on various business contract disputes, lender liability, title insurance claims, fraud, foreclosure actions, enforcement and defense of mechanics liens and stop notices, commercial and residential evictions, and a variety of collection matters. He has extensive experience representing lender institutions, commercial banks, and investment banks in litigation filed in all State and Federal courts throughout California. Mr. Mijanovic’s experience also extends to actions under multiple statutes including the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Truth in Lending Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, and the Home Ownership and Equity Protection Act.

Krsto has defended numerous product manufacturers and contractors in hundreds of wrongful death, personal injury, and subrogation matters. His experience in products liability includes the defense of products from diverse industries, including agriculture, aviation, construction, HVAC systems, medical, and sports and recreation. Krsto specializes in defending wrongful death and personal injury cases resulting from fires in residential and commercial buildings. He has examined over 100 fire scenes and has extensive experience as lead trial counsel on hundreds of fire cases where he has represented manufacturers, premises owners, and contractors. His depth of knowledge and expertise in these fields gives him a unique perspective in litigation and trial, enabling him to achieve the best results for his clients in a cost-effective manner. His wealth of experience allows him to provide valuable advice to clients and experts at the critical stages of a case, including: retention of experts; failure analysis; defending or examining fire experts; analyzing and advocating evidentiary issues such as admissibility of fire experts’ testimony under Daubert or Frye challenges; and preventing or advocating for spoliation sanctions for the destruction of evidence.

He has extensive experience defending trucking companies and their drivers in significant transportation matters, multi-vehicle accidents, including tractor-trailers, farm equipment, forklifts, cranes, aerial work platforms, and man lifts.
