The Supreme Court of Virginia struck down the largest jury verdict in Virginia history, a $2.3 billion award, in one of the most closely watched trade secrets cases in the country. Gentry Locke served as appellate counsel from trial through this Supreme Court victory for Pegasystems, Inc., a global software company. The decision affirmed a Court of Appeals decision that had reversed and remanded the case for a new trial.
