Manuel Prates

Manuel is a founding partner of SPS Advogados and leads the firm’s Corporate and M&A practice. He has over 30 years of experience advising companies across sectors such as industry, media, and services, and his practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, with additional experience in litigation and labor matters.

Manuel regularly advises both domestic and international clients and has acted for several multinational companies throughout his career, often in cross-border contexts, supporting both their entry into and expansion within the Portuguese market.
