At the ALFA International 2023 Insurance Roundtable\, we are looking forward to spending time with colleagues and insurance professionals from across the country. This year\, we are tackling some long-standing problems with a fresh perspective\, as well as new issues affecting insurance first and third-party conundrums. We’ll explore new ways to combat nuclear verdicts\, including how to present insurance companies and their decision-makers in the modern courtroom. We’ll look at insurance company and independent agents\, fraud investigations and reservations of rights. We’ll also discuss modern issues and tools to prevent and respond to cyber security risks\, first-party property appraisals and overlapping concerns with additional insureds and indemnity contracts. \nIt won’t be all work. ALFA International and our guests will take time to explore Charleston\, with options to include a historic homes tour\, a visit to Fort Sumter and even a little kayaking.
