Molly Humphreys Teas
Molly H. Teas is an attorney in Lewis Thomason's Nashville office. She joins Lewis Thomason after over five years of practice in Southern California, and has experience defending trucking companies, rideshare companies, and premises owners in catastrophic injury and wrongful death actions. Molly’s practice primarily focuses on the transportation industry. Before joining Lewis Thomason, Molly also represented federally recognized Indian tribes in the San Diego area in premises and transportation matters. She has defended clients in multiple jury and bench trials to verdict. She is licensed to practice in California, and is a Tennessee Bar Applicant practicing pending admission pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 7, § 10.07.
Molly is actively involved in ALFA International’s Transportation and Future Leaders Practice Groups. In 2025, ALFA International honored Molly as the organization’s inaugural “Future Leader of the Year.” In 2023, San Diego Defense Lawyers recognized Molly as the organization’s “Outstanding New Attorney.”
As a law student at the University of San Diego School of Law (USD), Molly was awarded the “Best Trial Lawyer” by the Association of Business Trial Lawyers (ABTL) for her performance in the organization’s mock trial competition. She was also recognized as USD Law’s James D’Angelo Outstanding Child Advocate in 2020.
Outside of the office, Molly is a member of the Junior League of Nashville and enjoys running, country music, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
