Georg Huber

Dr. Georg Huber, LL.M., is an attorney and partner at the law firm GPK Pegger Kofler & Partners in Innsbruck, Austria. He has many years of experience as a lawyer in the areas of IT/IP law, including data protection law. Other areas of focus include digitalisation law (e.g. AI regulation) and data law/data economy (also with regard to non-personal data), antitrust and distribution law, and corporate law. He has also completed training as a certified data protection officer. Before becoming a lawyer, he spent a year as a research assistant at the Institute for Commercial and Securities Law at the University of Innsbruck, graduated from the renowned University of Chicago and successfully passed the New York bar exam. He gives numerous lectures, for example at the Tyrol Chamber of Commerce, teaches at the Management Center Innsbruck (MCI) and regularly publishes on data protection topics.
