ALFA International (ALFAI) is pleased to announce that Erik Lindseth, Chris Schilder and Jane Stahl recently joined its Client Advisory Board. Erik Lindseth is Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Life Time, Inc.
As a wellness pioneer, Life Time is reshaping how consumers approach their health by integrating where we move, work and live – digitally and physically – all with the primary objective of helping people lead healthy happy lives. With more than 150 destinations in 41 major markets across the U.S. and Canada, Life Time operates luxury athletic resorts, owns and produces iconic athletic events and is expanding its brand through Life Time Work premium coworking spaces and Life Time Living high-end leased residences. As General Counsel since 2010, Erik has led Life Time’s legal team, which is responsible for handling or managing legal work in support of all aspects of Life Time’s growing business, including real estate development, construction, commercial contracting, corporate governance, employment, consumer protection, intellectual property, licensing and regulatory matters, and litigation management. Before joining Life Time, Erik worked as an Assistant Attorney General with the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office and was an associate in private practice. Erik earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School and graduated with a B.A. from Drake University.

Chris Schilder is Deputy General Counsel & VP of Risk Management for BrandSafway, a leading global provider of access, specialized services, and forming and shoring solutions to the industrial, commercial and infrastructure end markets. Chris is the second-ranking attorney in the Global Legal & Risk Department and provides counsel on critical functions, including contracts, litigation, compliance, risk management, safety and commercial transactions to senior leadership and the Board of Directors. Chris received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and earned a B.A. in International Relations – Political Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Jane Stahl is the General Counsel for Shaw Industries Group, Inc. Inc. Headquartered in Dalton, Georgia, Shaw is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway with more than $6 billion in annual revenue, over 20,000 employees, and representation throughout the U.S., as well as in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, France, India, Mexico, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom. As General Counsel, Jane leads a team of 15 legal professionals, including lawyers, paralegals, managers, and coordinators, who, alongside her, advise the global company on a wide range of legal and business issues. Prior to joining Shaw in 2001, Jane was in private practice in Chattanooga, where she practiced in the areas of general litigation, appellate litigation, labor & employment, as well as general corporate representation. Early in her legal career, Jane served as a law clerk to the Honorable William M. Barker (retired), Associate Justice of the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals. Jane received her B.S. from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law.
