GENERAL

The Business Litigation Practice Group was formed in response to a growing need of our members and clients. There are currently 100 attorneys from 40 ALFA International firms that participate.

FOCUS

Industries throughout the world are continually barraged with business and commercial lawsuits, which can drain a company’s coffers and goodwill. A company’s assets, business methods and commercial and intellectual property interests can often be managed and/or enhanced through the proper handling of its business litigation. Management of these risks is the focus of the Business Litigation Practice Group. 

ACTIVITIES

The Group has co-hosted numerous seminars with other ALFA International practice groups.  The group continuously discusses alternative event ideas as well, including tele-seminars, web-seminars and on-site turnkey client seminars.  They hosted a tele-seminar on January 20, 2010.  Please click on the link below for further information. 

EVENTS

The group recently hosted their first stand-alone seminar in Chicago, IL at the Four Seasons Hotel, September 13-14, 2012.  A seminar has been planned for September 19-20, 2013 in Chicago, IL at The Langham.  The Practice Group is also participating in the 2013 International Client Seminar - March 7-10, 2013 at the La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs, California.  Please click on the links below to learn more about these programs.
