GENERAL
The ALFA International Bankruptcy Law Practice Group (the "Group") was founded in late 2004 and has assembled 56 lawyers from 39 member law firms. Founding lawyers are committed to offering a wide range of services and legal counseling normally falling under the broad rubric of "bankruptcy" law.
FOCUS
Lawyers within the Group represent creditors, creditors committees, debtors, trustees, asset purchasers, lenders, and other parties in interest. As noted above, the Group provides a forum for discussion and networking with respect to a wide range of related issues, including voluntary and involuntary bankruptcies, reorganizations, workouts, liquidations, and secured financings. Lobbying and legislative monitoring is also provided by many of the member firms. ALFA Bankruptcy Practice Group Brochure
