Grace V.B. Garcia is a Partner in the Boston office of Morrison Mahoney LLP, where she concentrates on construction law, products liability, premises liability, commercial litigation, and Americans with Disabilities Act cases. In 2013, she was honored by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as a “Top Women of Law” and from 2005 through 2012, she has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer Rising Star,” a distinction earned by less than 2.5% of lawyers in Massachusetts. Grace has obtained successful outcomes on behalf of her clients in state and federal court trials. She also has successfully argued before the Appeals Court in North American Specialty Ins. Co. v. Payton Construction Corp., 80 Mass. App. Ct. 367 (2011). Beyond ALFA, she is actively involved in many professional groups, and currently serves as Vice Chair and on the Board of the MA Defense Lawyers Association, Chairs the Construction Practice Subcommittee of the MDLA, and Chairs the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Volunteer Recognition Committee. She is a routine lecturer on defending traumatic brain injuries, risk transfer and indemnity issues, best discovery practices and deposition techniques, and has authored articles on Medicare, electronic discovery and legal updates.
