COMMERCIAL BANKRUPTCY WITH RESTRUCTURING PLAN (Mexico)

On December 27, 2007, the decree amending provisions of the Commercial Bankruptcy Law (Ley de Concursos Mercantiles, lcm) was published in the Official Federal Gazette. This decree mentions the addition to the lcm of Title XIV and of a new concept, commercial bankruptcy with a restructuring plan, which offers a series of benefits to the merchant who finds himself in a current or imminent state of insolvency. BORDER MEASURES AGAINST COUNTERFEITING AND PIRACY (Mexico)
