Marc H. Harwell is a member of the Chattanooga, Tennessee ALFA International law firm of Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan, PLLC. In 1986, he earned his B.A. cum laude from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. In 1989, he earned his J.D. at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville College of Law, served on the Tennessee Law Review, and was published by that Review. He has served as Chair of the Transportation section of ALFA International; is a Disciplinary Hearing Committee Member of the Tennessee Supreme Court’s Board of Professional Responsibility; is a Master of the American Inns of Court; is a Fellow of the Chattanooga Bar Foundation; is Vice-Chair for the Transportation and for the Construction sections of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel; is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in construction law; is the Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the Chattanooga History Center; is a former Board Chairman of the American Heart Association, Hamilton County Unit; and has held numerous other positions in his community for the arts and for disabled and disadvantaged children.His litigation practice is devoted to the defense of commercial motor carriers, the construction industry, employment issues, insurance coverage disputes, products liability, and professional liability (architects, engineers, lawyers, title companies, …).
